Over 1.5 million people have fled Ukraine in just ten days. Following Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, more than 1 million people have fled to safety across the Polish border. With horrifying scenes of refugees across the world forced to return to war zones, journalist Anastasia Lapatina expected a humanitarian catastrophe.
